I have been visiting this restaurant since they were running small place on Armagh St. back 30+yrs. I no longer living in Christchurch but so glad they are still running their business since that old days. Foods are great as before and always enjoy seeing familiar face. I will definitely come back again and again!

We felt so welcome from the moment we walked through the door. Excellent advice from our waitress regarding portion size and gluten free options. Great value. Huge portions.

Great service all round. Special mention goes to Kei. Food was good. Enjoyed the beef with stir fried beans, the chicken with cashew nuts and the Thai fried rice. Book choy with garlic was also very good. Hot and sour soup was more peppery than anything unfortunately.

Their food is so good, no wonder the high rating. We usually have dinner early, so were lucky enough to get a table without booking. I wasn't that hungry, probably due to long distance driving and a decent pie for lunch. They use fresh ingredients and the appropriate cut of meat for different dishes. The portions are generous. The dishes are very flavourful, with some a bit too salty to my liking. Overall it's awesome!!

The Malaysian-Chinese female staff member was very patient with my elderly mum in answering her questions regarding portions and ingredients etc. I am so happy that mum is able to order dishes for our family of six. The food is good Cantonese food. Atmosphere is absolutely buzzing (chatter, champagne popped, children screaming) as good Cantonese.resturants should be! Service is fast and efficient. Do remember to reserve ahead for weekend dinners!
